The LuxerHair Hair Care & Longevity Guide

The LuxerHair Longevity Formula™

Your investment deserves longevity.

We recommend:

• Low manipulation
• Consistent moisture
• Professional maintenance every 6–8 weeks

With proper care, your LuxerHair wig can last 1–3+ years.

Understanding Your Wig

Your LuxerHair wig is:

• 100% human hair
• Cuticle-aligned
• Designed for longevity
• Meant to be treated like natural hair

Luxury hair is an investment.
How you maintain it determines whether it lasts 1 year or 3+ years.

LuxerHair Application & Customization Guide

How Should I Cut My Lace?

For the most seamless blend, trim your lace in a soft zigzag motion rather than a straight line.

A jagged edge creates a more natural transition between the lace and your skin, preventing a harsh line of demarcation.

Take your time and cut gradually — precision ensures perfection.

How Do I Match the Lace to My Skin Tone?

For a flawless melt, we recommend:

• A lace tint that closely matches your complexion
• A light application of foundation using a fluffy brush
• A lace tint foam for an exact tone match

Apply lightly and build gradually for the most natural finish.

How Do I Prevent My Wig from Sliding?

Every LuxerHair unit includes an adjustable elastic band and interior combs for security.

For additional hold, you may use:

• Lace spray
• Lace glue
• Lace gel
• Light-hold hairspray

Choose your method based on preference — whether you prefer a glueless install or extended wear security.

How Do I Achieve a Natural Hairline?

All LuxerHair units arrive pre-plucked for a realistic finish.

For enhanced customization:

• Lightly pluck to your preference if desired
• Hot comb the hairline back before installation
• Position the wig slightly behind your natural hairline
• Allow adhesive (if using) to become tacky before securing

Press the lace gently into place using a comb and low heat.
Finish by tying a melt band or silk scarf until fully set.

Once dry, trim excess lace and style as desired — including optional baby hairs for added realism.

How Do I Get an Ultra-Flat, Laid Finish?

For a sleek, polished result:

• Use a hot comb on low to medium heat
• Apply a light styling wax near the roots
• Smooth with a dense brush
• Set with a light mist of hairspray

Always use heat cautiously to preserve the integrity of your unit.

Washing Your Wig (Every 2–3 Weeks)

What You’ll Need:

• Sulfate-free shampoo
• Hydrating conditioner
• Wide-tooth comb
• Lukewarm water

Steps:

  1. Detangle from ends upward.

  2. Rinse with lukewarm water.

  3. Apply shampoo in downward motion (no scrubbing).

  4. Rinse.

  5. Apply conditioner mid-shaft to ends.

  6. Let sit 10–15 minutes.

  7. Rinse thoroughly.

  8. Air dry on wig stand.

❌ Do not twist or wring hair.
❌ Do not use hot water.

Moisture Routine (Weekly)

Human hair extensions don’t receive oils from your scalp.

Add moisture weekly:

• Light leave-in conditioner
• Lightweight serum
• Minimal oil (argan or jojoba only)

Avoid heavy grease — it causes buildup.

Heat Styling Rules

✔ Always use heat protectant
✔ Keep tools under 375°F
✔ Avoid daily straightening

Excess heat shortens lifespan.

Luxury hair thrives with low manipulation.

Storage & Protection

When not wearing:

• Store on mannequin head
• Or silk bag
• Avoid direct sunlight
• Keep away from humidity

At night:
• Remove if possible
• Or wrap with silk scarf

Cotton pillowcases cause dryness.

 Lace Care

• Clean lace gently with mild shampoo
• Avoid alcohol-heavy products
• Do not aggressively scratch lace

Lace is delicate — treat it like fabric, not scalp.

How Long Should Your Wig Last?

With proper care:

✔ 12–24 months regular wear
✔ 2–3+ years with rotation

Luxury clients rotate wigs.
That’s how you preserve quality.
